Our first impression on this place is that it looks like Ben Thanh Market in our home country, Vietnam. It looks very crowded outside cause it’s Saturday today. People are busy crossing the street, taking the pictures, or some were standing around the street corner. Traffic is moving slowly cause they had to stop constantly to yield to pedestrians. When I came inside, it surprised me again. This place looks very big. We can see all the people here just came to visit cause we didn’t see carry any grocery bags accept for one person. They have everything here, from fruit, vegetable, meat (many different kinds of meat: kangaroo, larma…), fish to bakery, souvenir, fast foods restaurant. All of them are very fresh, but they are very pricey. We stopped and ate at a Korean fast food restaurant.
We went around outside the market and then we were attracted by a group of people who were wearing strange clothes. Thong kept asking me to follow them to take pictures. After a while, they led us to a square. ah, they were performing a play. Thong and I stood there a long time watching it. Despite of the rain, people still watched even after they planed to stop the play due to the rain.
