Terra Cotta

60 kms away from Toronto, Terra Cotta Conservation is a good place for anyone who wants to escape from the busy and noisy life in a city. This is also a perfect place for hiking. The admission fee is 5 bucks /person and you can also visit other conservation areas during the same day. Fishing can also be done in the park but we didn’t try it yet cause we want to practice hiking so we can be prepared for bigger adventures. It was not too crowed on that day.

At first, we were startled cause the place looked scary. we tried with the simplest trail. While going and talking to each other happily, I dragged Thong’s hand when I saw a snake on the road. Thong was getting scared too and I wanted to go back to the car. But after a while, he said it was not dangerous.

We continued, and finally the first trial was completed. One more thing that we like about this place is the washroom is very clean , the staff is friendly too. They go and check around the trail very often. We are going to go back to this place for the other trails.
