Cross-country Skiing at Albion Hills, Canada

This is the second time we have tried cross country skiing.

You might ask why I didn’t do any posts about skiing. It was a painful story. In 2014, I was taken to the park for skiing by my husband after many times insisting him to let me go skiing. We went to the park that is close to our house, and rent all the equipment there. After everything was all set, we came to the skiing area, trying to figure out how to deal with the skiing shoes (because I felt a little bit uncomfortable). And suddenly, I fell down and my leg was just like stuck and I felt so painful that for a moment I thought that I had to be taken to the hospital. I was crying, and Thong didn’t know what to do, so he returned all the equipment and we had to go home. From that moment, every time Thong mentions about skiing, I feel very scared and don’t want to try it again.

A month after, he took me to Albion Hills, and asked me to try cross country skiing. I wasn’t really interested in it and still kind of scared, but then after a long moment being convinced by my husband, I tried it, and realized that it wasn’t difficult at all, and I really like it. All I have to do is strap on the skis and go. We went almost the whole trail and it was snowing at that time. It was very beautiful although it was so cold. I kept telling my husband that we have to come back here some day.
